Intel chipsets 7-Series are officially announced

Intel has officially introduced a line of chipsets, the 7 Series. The solutions are designed to work in conjunction with the existing second-generation Core processors (Sandy Bridge) and will be compatible with the upcoming third-generation Core processors (Ivy Bridge), whose production will be held later.

Chipsets 7-Series have built-in USB 3.0 controller and support for technology Intel Smart Response, Smart Connect, and Rapid Start. Table segment chipsets are Z77, Z75, H77 and B75. In the mobile segment chipsets settled HM77, UM77, HM76 and HM75.
