MSI introduces notebooks GT 640 and GT 740 based on processors Core i7

After the novelty company Toshiba, another leading manufacturer of computers and accessories MSI is preparing to introduce two new models of laptops on the platform of Intel Calpella. New items belong to the game series and based on the Core i7 processor and chipset PM55. It is a model GT640 and GT740, which are equipped with a display diagonal of 15.4 and 17 inches respectively.

Notebooks characterized processors Core i7-720QM with a frequency of 1.6 GHz, has 4 GB of RAM and hard drive capacity of 500 GB. Each model is equipped with graphics accelerator GeForce GTS 250M, Gigabit Ethernet adapters and Wi-Fi, web-camera and HDMI.

Novelties GT640 and GT740 will be available on sale in late October with pre-version of the operating system Windows 7 Home Basic. Recommended price of manufacturer is 1400 and 1500 euros, respectively.
