A set of system logic equipped with the AMD 785G integrated GPU ATI Radeon HD 4200

Building on the success of the recruitment system of logic with integrated GPU 780G, company AMD has released its enhanced version of 785G.

New motherboards designed for mass segment, calculated on the next generation. Together with the 785G, you can use the south bridge SB700, SB710 and SB750.

The main differences include a new chipset for the embedded GPU, which has received improvements tested in discrete models. In particular, the GPU ATI Radeon HD 4200 (it is a discrete prototype designation RV620) differs from its predecessor, ATI Radeon HD 3200 support DirectX 10.1. In addition, the new version of the universal decoder UVD2 hardware implemented video with an opportunity to re change of resolution and format, including high-definition video formats. Other improvements include support for HDMI 1.3 (ATI Radeon HD 3200 conform to the specifications of HDMI 1.2). The number of stream processors has remained the same - 40. To produce a set of system logic AMD 785G uses 55-nanometer technology.

In the near future should expect the emergence of motherboards on the new chispsete - the preparation of such products has been known already known. In the meantime, you can read our detailed review, which compares motherboards Gigabyte MA785GT-UD3H (AMD 785G), Gigabyte MA78GM-UD2H (AMD 780G), ASRock A790GMH/128M (AMD 790GX) and the ASUS P5Q-EM (Intel G45).
