Palit GeForce 9600 GT Green Edition get rid of having redundant connector

Initiative NVIDIA, committed to build production green versions of their graphics accelerators, is more and more support from manufacturers.


New audit cores G92 and G94, produced by 55-nm standards, coupled with the lower frequencies make it possible to significantly reduce heat dissipation and power consumption. As a consequence, we can see less bulky cooling system, and significant changes in the design of the circuit boards.

Thus, Palit GeForce 9600 GT Green Edition, noticed on sale in Japan, is not equipped with the usual 6-pin power connector PCI Express.
