Samsung showed the world's first display technology PC-over-IP

As part of CES, which ended last week, the company Samsung Electronics introduced an innovative solution in the category of monitors for the PC. The new device is the use of technology PC-over-IP (PCoIP), developed by experts of the corporation Teradici.

Thanks to technology PCoIP, used in the Samsung SyncMaster 930ND monitor with a screen size of 19 inches diagonally, it can connect to a PC using a standard IP-network. Thus, it is possible to work on a remote computer, displaying the image on the 930ND.

Characteristics of the monitor are: Contrast - 1000:1, response time pixels - 5 ms, resolution - 1280 x 1024 pixels. The device is equipped with four-port USB, HD Audio connectors and DVI-out to connect another monitor. The monitor is compatible with Microsoft Windows Vista operating system and Windows XP.
