Acer equips a series of displays P4 USB interface to connect to a PC

Not bad going for the company DisplayLink, to move up on the market its chips, enabling manufacturers to display a connection to a PC for USB, rather than the more traditional D-Sub and DVI.

C convenience of this approach is difficult to argue, so I assume that the newly submitted Acer P224W monitor will not be the last in a series of similar products.

It is equipped with a special multimedia docking station, connected to a desktop PC or laptop via USB. In addition, it provides a fairly good monitor speakers.

Acer P224W built based on a matrix with 22-inch diagonal screen and resolution of 1680 x 1050 pixels. Declared level of contrast (dynamic) is 10000:1, response time - 5 ms.

P224W is the first model equipped with a series of P4 chip DisplayLink. Earlier, a USB office has already received a series of Acer B.
